Notes: Sits on a hill covered in tall trees, Ridgecrest is the main graveled road in excellent shape along the W and Spring Cove Court is a bladed road thru the woods to a culdesac at the back of the property on the east - very cool, power down the road at neighbors, hiked up onto the property off the ledge which was kinda tall but it's a very pretty lot tucked in the woods with a wash thru the back of it, nice trees, no thorns, unique.

Available Plat 70 Lot 21 is 8,400 Sq Feet, Taxes $8.69 See images 41 - 70. Notes: Sits on the far side of the subdivision by gate 3, Spring Cove Road is an excellent graveled road with power running along it, adjoining neighbor to the S, heavy trees and brush too thick to safely walk thru, huge bushy trees, a couple cars drove by. There will be plenty of shade to choose from if you clear it, neighbors lot is very flat. Saw some wild berries growing - looked good and reminded me of the wild berries in Washington State!

Heard activity on the next street over but this road is fairly quiet. Beautiful area, excellent lots!

Notes: sits along a graveled road that was a hair overgrown from lack of use but still a very easy drive, a few large rocks right in front of it - sorta cool if you're into rocks like my Mom, this area of the subdivision isnt quite as developed. Property slopes down to the S, neighbor adjoins to the E., lots of thorn bushes - be careful, quite a bit of road frontage to the property and you could clear property and not have to remove any trees at the front to put an RV on it.

Your choice of lots in Tanglewood Lakes in La Cygne, Kansas zoned for a home or RV use. It's about 1 hour S of Kansas City, KS, 3 hours E of Wichita and 2.5 Hours NW of Springfield, MO in Linn County. It's a fisherman's paradise with 3 stocked private lakes that require no fishing licenses beacuse it's private property! What a great spot for a home or weekend getaway with swimming, water skiing, a clubhouse, bathhouse, boat ramp, dock and fishing tournaments!

The lots are sitting on graveled roads and it was an easy drive thru the subdivision. There is power running thru several part of Tanglewood Lakes which you can see in the aerial photos. You can also click on the google map links to the individual properties and then turn on the aerial view to see how close the power runs. You would need to contact the local power company for the cost to put a power pole on a property.

All of the lots allow you to build a home/manufactured home or stay in your RV! RV's left on lot after October 1st must complete a vehicle exemption with the POA. This form is on the land owners website.

A big shout out to Lynn who spent quite some time on the maps! She included a link to Bing Maps that has all of the lots listed on it with their gps coordinates! She also marked all of the lots with a red star on the Subdivision Map which is the first map in the map section. I suggest you print this map as it will definitely help driving around!

The annual dues for each lot is $175 per year. The amenities include 3 lakes. The largest lake covers about 135 acres and you can water ski, tube, use a personal water craft and fish on that lake. The two other lakes are 30 and 9 acres. Watercraft are not allowed on either of these two lakes although you can use a battery powered craft on the 9 care lake. The two smaller lakes are for fishing and swimming.

There's a park with a sheltered picnic area that can seat up to 80 people, adjacent horseshoe pits and play ground equipment. The land owners association hosts quite a few events each year including fishing tournaments, a poker boat run, and a cardboard bota race regatta! There were kids out playing on the lake when I visited taking turns knocking each other off a baddle board - looked like a fun way to beat the heat on a warm July sunny day!

Many of the property owners here are full time residents and others enjoy their properties as a weekend retreat! I think it's a great price for years of family fun! Enjoy, Amber : )

All of the maps and information provided in this listing are intended to assist you in your due diligence research. We try and include many resources that we use ourselves. Over the years we have found information to be incorrect like a road that shows on an aerial photo or street map that we can't find because it is overgrown or doesn't exist or a difference in GPS settings. So while we try and include as much of this information as possible we greatly encourage you to carefully do your research to be sure the property suits your needs.
