Our Journey: The Ghost Town of Unionville, Once Home to Mark Twain June 2024

Our Journey date: 2024-07-16

I made a quick trip thru Unionville in June 2024. I had someone with me who hadn't seen it before and it's well worth the quick trip to see it. Once home to Samuel Langhorne Clemens aka Mark Twain, the author of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. There sure are some beautiful gardeners along the one lane road that leads up to the foothills in the mountains where you turn around. On the south side of the road is the cutest pond that I love snapping photos of - always some birds out enjoying it!
