2.89 acre building lot in Edwards, Missouri at Forbes Lake of the Ozarks, about an hour W of Osage Beach, and two hours SE of Kansas City, Missouri. Its a beautiful forest with deer and turkeys running around and even though all of the properties are privately owned most of them remain undeveloped so tons of privacy with the animals! The subdivision adjoins the Lake of the Ozarks and there are three boat ramps in to the lake for the private use of the property owners as well as some interior stocked lakes - a fisherman's paradise!
This property is located very close to Bob Lake as seen in the map link showing power. This map also shows that there is power about 3 to 4 lots to the east along Missouri State Route M. The closest boat ramp is Turkey Creek which you can see in the subdivision map to the northwest. The photos and note were taken in June 2007 at lot 3307 which is about eleven lots to the south. The property sits along two roads and it has easements on the west as well as the east as seen in the parcel map link. The road on the west is Trinchera Road which is one of the main roads through the subdivision and is graveled!
I have not had a chance to view these lots and chose these photos because the aerial photos show a less thicker type of foliage - a bit less trees than some other parts of the subdivision with lots of open meadows. Since that is what lot 3307 also looks like on the aerial I am showing this lot as the best representation I have although I do have some photos that were taken a bit closer. Of course you're welcome to go have a peek for yourself and see just what this really looks like.
This is a beautiful place with lots of deer and turkeys running around and we were not disappointed when we pulled into this area and saw the Momma and her baby hidden in the trees below! Too darn cute! I thought it was a pretty mix of forest - lots of deciduous wood and some medium sized pine trees! There is a lot of open meadows to this part - not near as thick as some of the other lots. I have had quite a few people ask me for lots that have more open meadows to them - these types of lots lend lots of sunshine to the property! : )
